LiftUP was created to allow UP Manila students (User) to communicate directly with a Counselor/Peer Facilitator. The user can choose a Counselor/Peer Facilitator and chat with him/her, ask questions, ask to be listened to, or request advice. Counselors are Guidance Services Specialists of the Office of Student Affairs UP Manila and Peer Facilitators are students from the different colleges of UP Manila.
Whether the user shall find the Counselor/Peer Facilitator’s advice applicable, helpful, or agreeable, this app assumes no responsibility for any action that might result from the interaction between user and Counselor/Peer Facilitator. Any consultation with a Counselor/Peer Facilitator cannot and does not replace a meeting with a qualified professional. A user seeking medical or mental health consultation should make an appointment in person with a qualified physician.

The user is solely and fully responsible for all transactions, postings, and communications that are made under his/her username and password. The user will not transmit or post any illegal, harassing, derogatory, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harmful, or malicious material. The user will not stalk, intimidate or torment any Counselor/Peer Facilitator or invade upon their privacy. The app is not involved in any direct transactions between the user and the Counselor/Peer Facilitator.
The LiftUP Terms and Conditions apply to all users who access this app. This app is owned and operated by the Office of Student Affairs, UP Manila.
This agreement sets forth and contains the terms and conditions between you and LiftUP. By checking the box on the member sign up page this indicates that you have read and agreed to the LiftUP member terms and conditions.
LiftUP may modify this agreement or any part thereof at any time in its absolute discretion. The member is encouraged to check the terms of this agreement frequently.
UP Email Account
When you, the user, need to chat and open an account with LiftUP, you will be asked to provide your UP email. You are solely responsible for protecting your UP email address and password and any other security information related to your account. You will be fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You may not use the account of someone else at any time.
To be able to cater to as many students as possible, your conversation will be supported for a 5 days period.

What is an OSA Counselor?
An OSA Counselor is an authorized employee of OSA that handles consultation services and supervises the work of peer facilitators.
What is a Peer Facilitator?
A Peer Facilitator is a student trained by the Office of Student Affairs to assist in the consultation services and handle an actual case in LiftUP.
Can I request my account to be deleted?
